It all Started in 2006
Ben Baldwin and Kevin Connelly started Golden View Express, Inc. (GVE) in 2006 to haul freight for Balcon Enterprises, Inc. A few years later, they added a brokerage division, called Golden View Logistics, Inc. (GVL). When they did that, they knew just the guy they needed as their broker: Henry Kattenberg. Henry started a trucking business in 1980, driving his own trucks and trailers throughout the United States. After 20 years, Henry went into the brokerage business, which eventually led him to GVL. Henry passed away in August of 2022 and his impact on Golden View is still felt to this day.
Today, our GVL brokers do what Henry started, but on a bigger scale. They operate GVL as a truck brokerage company to dispatch trucks to deliver and pick up industrial packaging products.
Our GVE fleet consists of local, regional and long haul drivers, driving trucks & 53’ dry vans to various locations around the United States. Helping them successfully get to where they are going (and back) is a Fleet Manager and team of Dispatchers & Mechanics.
